Implementation of Reverse charge from 1 June 2007 |

HMRC have announced in Revenue and Customs Brief 24/07 that the reverse charge for mobile phones and computer chips will be implemented in 1 June 2007.
The reverse charge will apply to supplies of specified goods with a VAT exclusive value of £5000 or more.
The brief details how the new provisions will apply to particular types of business and how the reverse charge will be reported.

HMRC have issued their final Business Brief 23/06, which includes items on the renewal of the UK derogation regarding the Cash Accounting Scheme and attribution of input tax and the Capital Goods Scheme following the first grant of a major interest in residential property.
This is the final Business Brief from HMRC. From 1 January 2007 HMRC are taking the opportunity to combine the Business Brief and Tax Bulletin publications into a single, online only, bulletin to be known as 'Revenue & Customs Brief'.
