Constable VAT Consultancy LLP

CVC are seeking to recruit a VAT specialist. Initially the role we need to fill will entail an assignment of 12 months to work on a full time basis with a US company that needs to resolve VAT liability issues in a number of EU locations.  This vacancy has now been filled.

The particular requirement of this project will be helping to formulate and implement a strategy to deal with VAT liabilities in a number of key markets. The work will involve liaising with customers, mobile phone operators and local tax administrations.  The candidate will also be required to provide technical support to the client’s sales team which is obliged to agree with their customers billing arrangements that address complex supply chain issues that have the potential to create double taxation.

The role will lead to either a full time placement with our client, a similar placement with a different client or a reversion to a more typical consultancy role dealing with a range of clients in a number of sectors.  However, this is not a one-off project fixed term contract offer.
